Besides your regular levels you have 2 Primary Professions (i.e Mining, Blacksmithing, skinning, tailoring, enchanting) Now these professions can be easily closed to max out because when your leveling you will be provided with more than enough materials, So no farming for materials they will come as you level! Getting to max level takes about 2-3 months for the average player to hit lvl 80 (85 soon) So yeah Ill let you decide. You Pick a Race and a Class then Bam your journey begins. Now WoW is a little less complex when it comes to Leveling. Now for a video game I believe that is far too long!! Although the skills do payoff in the end with a lovely CAPE! and if ur good enough u can get it trimmed! YIP YIP!? Thats another problem games takes too much dedication.

So theres 1 problem and other skills can take 2+ months to achiev 99 and can cost ALOT of money (farming, Slayer, Herblore, Dungeoneering, Summoning). Obviously less for the skilled players and botters. Now arguably these skills take over a month to achiev 99 for the average player. Now in runescape you have 25 skills (correct me if im wrong).
